Wearable Wednesday Ria Keburia

Evan was very nervous about his ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ solo as the runway finale.

The stitcher missed the obvious message about how long to hem these.

Clown+ windbreaker= Wind-breaking clown?

Is she checking out his rear? Or just trying to find something less painful to focus on?

This is much cuter when a 4 year old wears it to escort an Olympian around a stadium as the anthem plays….

Ria never forgot her roots designing hospital gowns.

Step away from the pleater and let the healing start.

I’m sorry to say that ensemble # 4 with the sideways ruffly pockets is a dead ringer for a housecoat (anyone else old enough to remember those?) that my grandma had. But in her defense, the pockets were right side up….She wasn’t senile, after all! How would you keep your Lucky Strikes and Hershey’s kisses from falling out?! Geez. I get my abhorrence of non-functional pockets from my grandma.
The rest of it…Side-splittingly funny if you just don’t let yourself think “Someone got PAID to do that??Where do I sign up??”

The only positive thing I can think of to say: that collection makes even my worst creation look awesome! I feel so good about ALL my sewing now.

  3. Truly, you need to rename this as “unwearable Wednesday”! I have never seen worse clothes than this. The designer threw this little lot together the night before then sat back and had a good laugh. Thank you for sharing – I think!

  4. From the looks of the audience, this was a fashion school runway gone WAY wrong…! Not even Tim Gunn could “make it work” with these disasters! Those poor models…Not their best moment. And those leg things…just make it STOP.

As always…who gave that person money to put on this show??? And where do I get the same chance? I’ve got some vintage tablecloths and pom poms just waiting for their chance to shine…lol

Glad I didn’t have a mouthful of coffee when I was reading your wit, ’cause now I’d needa new computer after spraying the keyboard with when I laughed

  6. I just don’t understand. I’m all for gender neutrality … but why are the boys wearing dresses? Is this somebody’s idea of genderqueer?? Totally scratching my head.

  7. “Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right” at least these raise the bar a little from Kanye West’s latest grim and drab collection…but only slightly on the clown scale. What a waste of crap fabrics!
