As a devoted aunt, I never miss one of the kiddies school theatricals- but this years Montessori productions have been the best!
I had no idea anyone had written a rap version of Fiddler on the Roof-
Death of a Salesman done with supporting characters as puppets was a bit of a stretch for me too, but gosh those kids nailed it!
A ballet based o the Harrison Ford film Witness was a truly inspired idea!
Well, maybe not as inspired as the troubled backstory of young street artist Obi Wan Kenobi- that brought tears to these jaded eyes!
Support the arts, people- one day your niece could be Hester Prynne- and you’ll be so proud!

Oooo! I want the crushed velvet cloak! What other colors does it come in?
Seriously these are all weird and dull at the same time.

The “share the road” sign is rather inspired. Although, it should read, ” move over and let them pass!!!”

Your commentary is, as usual, hysterical. All I could think about was the waste of some beautiful fabric. Sigh…

A designer who makes velvet boring should be taken out and shot with a water pistol ten times in the face. Honestly, how do you make velvet seem hum-drum?

Hilarious commentary, and spot on. I have a drawer full of velvet waiting for inspiration……. still waiting.

You made a deal with this designer beforehand, didn’t you. Your commentary was too spot on. I don’t know where you find these, but I’m so glad you do– my favorite midweek laughs. I think we have some contenders for the 2017 Butt Ugly Awards this week. Oy vey!

I really was inspired by the beard/chin nets business- what was that about??

That model couldn’t grow his beard fast enough, so the designer said “screw it” and cut fringes on black paper and glued it on the model’s face.

Who doesn’t need a crushed velvet cape-bomber thing? And throwing in matching crushed velvet pants was truly a stroke of genius! This has to be the first time I can remember where I looked at velvet and thought…NOPE.
Your take had me truly LOL-ing. 😀

Wow! I was thinking… I can’t imagine any man I know wearing the silver crushed velvet… That is a man under there, isnt it? Then I saw the fake beard… What were they thinking?

That beard is hilarious. Definitely should be in a kids play somewhere…I didn’t know you could actually make velvet boring!
