I’m getting good feelings from these- my jaded heart- my upper lip is feeling a jerking sensation- like I might form a smile. I’d better check these symptoms on webmd.
Maybe it’s just a tumor. Or the fumes from her puffy paint.
I feel a strong sense of youthful Fanning-
Like maybe I could go canpIgn for class president-
Or redo my kitchen linens!
Ok, I love this look, but when I tried it, my husband asked me if it was a prayer shawl.
Holiday party at the grange hall? Pencil me in!
These shoes are bringing me down tho. So heavy for these!?
Escada- I’m crushing on you.

Nothing actually horrible here, but none of it is to my taste [or age group lol] A big meh from me

I think I’m too muttony for these too- but I was thrilled to see pretty things!

I think you made a mistake and showed us something that was actually immensely wearable…. Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us! 😁
Srsly tho, I’m in love with almost everything here. I even like the shoes when paired with that pink and black outfit!

That may be the best showcase for those clompers-

All lovely! All perfectly acceptable! I wouldn’t be able to wear those shoes with my bad ankles, but at least I’d be willing to try these on. Thank you! 😁👍

Oooo! Everything actually IS wearable. I love the pink suit and I love the “table linens” outfit even more. I want to see the gray dress without the prayer shawl. I think I might like that one even though I don’t usually go for gray. Maybe with a smaller, more colorful scarf?

Lovely things from Escada. It is hard to think of any funny mean things to say when the clothes are so pretty.

The crisp creased tailored pants; the pale, pale pink; the liquid red dress…very, very nice. If I saw almost any of these looks on real people on the street, I’d be impressed by their sense of style. ALMOST any of them. But I can’t abide by the puffy paint top. Looks like it came from the Alfred Dunner section of JCPenney.

Oh the Alfred Dunners! Oh- I can’t wait to see the other 13 pieces!!

Well, I guess I will have you to blame for whatever the outcome will be 😉 I actually pulled out a piece of pink twill to make a pair of pants and then thought, ahhh, maybe not. Now, I’m thinking, well okay. There’s a lot about this collection that I love…even the pink pants!

(1) Where do I find more pictures of that red evening gown?
(2) If I wore that to Christmas with the family, would I be overdressed? For frame of reference, I have a cousin who wore camo to her wedding.

Oh mercy! Go to W or Vogue.com.
I’m from a town where there are usually men in orange jumpsuits smoking with their ‘chaperones’ outside of the funeral home. I feel your pain!

Make the dress in camo fabric.

This sounds like my family. I used to worry about going to family gatherings overdressed while at the same time lamenting the fact that I never had anywhere to go dressed up. Now I have decided that every day is an occasion to dress up for and overdressed is just right. (Although I have to confess that in cold weather I dress more for comfort.)

The red gown is a stunner, it looks like it will fall apart at any moment which is part of the appeal. Makes me think of Jed in The Night Manager, if you haven’t seen it, look it up! All her dresses were designed to look as if they could come off, long and sleek.

Finally, some proper designs with models who don’t look like they are hating their work. There are a couple of things in here that I wouldn’t mind putting in my wardrobe. Eureka!

Number 7 is a knock-off. Check out Donna Karan Vogue OOP 1489.
Honestly, I pay good money for originality and wearability from these designers and then I find out that it’s a copy! Good grief….thank goodness you pointed this out to me and I’m glad I kept the receipt.

I miss your sewing. Maybe 2018 will be the year you get back to sewing.
