Wearable Wednesday Alyx

D’you know I was 4 pics in before I realized this was menswear. I feel like when my husband and I can’t decide if our wait person is a waiter or waiterette- so we just keep ‘psst’ing as they pass.

It’s sexy and approachable!

Why yes I’ve brought my resume! It’s right here in my lunch box. Would you like a juice box or some goldfish?

Menswear- it’s classified as menswear. I need to see Jared Leto in this. if we can get him out of this, that is. pavel has serious thoughts. How is it a fanny pack if I don’t possess a fanny?Mama likes her boy to look sharp for school pictures! No. it’s just no. Not even on Jared Leto. Photo credits: Vogue.com

I looked at these this morning and they gave me a headache. Then I looked at them again this afternoon to see if there was some way the pieces could be combined to make outfits or be wearable in any way at all. Now I have a stomachache too. I’m going to go look at pictures of puppies now. Or maybe pictures of Jared Leto.

  2. All I can think to say is what the actual f. How do people get some perfectly good fabric and think any of that is a worthwhile use for it? It boggles the mind. What a waste of resources. 😦 Literally no one wants that. LOL

  3. OK. I had to google Alyx to see what the heck weirdo does that crap. Did I get the right thing?? I got an article about it. Holy mother of fashion. Here’s the description: And though the first full men’s collection has only just hit stores, it already looks like the path leads straight to the top of the fashion pecking order. Founded in 2015 by Matthew Williams, Alyx is a luxury label with a start-up attitude and strong ties to the streets.

And yet the designer is quoted as follows: “I firmly believe that the world doesn’t need any more clothes. You have to give people a reason to buy a new piece. That’s what’s exciting.” —Matthew Williams

Here’s another quote: “The allure and glamour of being a new brand wears off quickly,” says Williams. “Soon you have to pull your weight when it comes to product and design.”

<> What a lot of bs. Or did I not get the right Alyx?? Is there another one that has actual design? The neck lunchboxes are the same though…
